Happy Birthday....Ryan is 1 month old!

October 9, 2007: Ryan turned 1 month old. It has been a crazy first month. Mikayla is finally getting used to Ryan being around. She is very gentle, loving, and extremely curious about our new visitor. Ryan has been gaining weight rapidly and is becoming increasingly more awake during the day. He still wakes for feedings every 3 hours. We are still wondering who he looks like...mom, dad, Nathan, or Mikayla?

September 9, 2007: Ryan Matthew was born at 6:31 pm at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. He weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and 19 1/2 inches long.

July 28, 2007: We celebrated Nathan's 7th birthday with the family at Maggiano's Restaurant at Old Orchard. Today, Mikayla also got her ears pierced.

June 24, 2007: This summer, Pat and I had the chance to watch the Cubs vs. Sox series at U.S. Cellular Field. No drinking for me since I was 6 months pregnant.

December 24, 2006: We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Brewer's house. Mikayla also celebrated her first Christmas. This year, John, Aisha. and Maya were able to join us for the holidays.

Go Bears!!!

December 17, 2006: The Bears played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Soldier Field in Chicago. We had pretty decent seats on the end zone and the weather was perfect. Despite overtime, the Bears won. Superbowl?!?!?!?

Go Bananas

December 9, 2006: Cousin Michael celebrated his birthday at Go Bananas with friends and family including Alex, Jasmin, Nathan, Mikayla, Isaiah, Amy, and David. They had fun riding the roller coasters, jumping in the bounce house, playing video games, and going down the giant slide. Luckily, for the parents, they all went to sleep early!!!
